形態特徵

Small shrubs to 30 cm tall, with creeping rhizomes, pilose and short glandular puberulous on young vegetative parts and Inflorescences.
Leaves opposite or subverticillate, chartaceous, eliptic-ovate or obovate, 1.4–6.8 cm long, 0.7–4.7 cm wide, apex obtuse or broadly acute, base rounded or acute, margins serrate or distantly serrate, villose and fuscous-puberulous beneath; petioles 0.2–0.9 cm long, villose.
Inflorescences subumbellate or umbellate, axillary from hypsophylls; peduncles 1.4–4.1 cm long, somewhat slender, villose; calyx lobes lanceolate-subulate, acuminate, pilose beneath, punctate; corolla lobes white or pink, ovate or broadly ovate, punctate.
Fruit globose, red.

分布

台灣 : in forests and on roadsides in the northern and central parts between 300 to 1,500 m.
世界 : Thailand, the Philippines, China, the Ryukyus, Japan and Korea.
